HANOI - CAT BA (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS)

(1 night at Cat Ba, 1 night on boat)
(Hai Phong – Cat Ba – Ha Long – loop)

•    Day 1: (L,D)

Morning:
7. 00 – 8.00: Pick up at hotel (in The Ancient Quarters of Hanoi)
8.00: Depart from Hanoi
10:30: Arrive at Do Son – Hai Phong, visit Do Son beach, Nghieng wharf (where no-number boats departed to the South in the War), go aboard to Catba.
12:30: Arrive in Cat Ba Island, check-in hotel, have lunch.

Afternoon:
Visit Cat Ba town, go swimming at Cat Co 1,2,3 beaches. Explore Cat Ba National Park, Xuan Dam hot streams, Lien Minh Village by motorbike.

 Evening:
19:00: have dinner at hotel.
Enjoy wine at some bars on the Island, view Cat Ba by night.
Overnight at Hotel.

•    Day 2: (B.L,D)

 Morning:
6:00 – 8:00: have breakfast at hotel then choose 1 itinerary from below:

    Option 1:
8:00: Take a bus to the harbour, go aboard to visit Lan Ha Bay, check-in cabin on boat.
11:00: swimming, kayaking, clamming, fishing at Tai Keo Cave (lunch is served on boat).

Evening:
Enjoy grilled seafood, camp-fire on the beach. Taste wine at some bars on the Island, view the Bay by night.

    Option 2:
8:00: take a bus to the wharf, go aboard to visit Lan Ha Bay, check-in cabin on boat
10:00: kayaking in Lan Ha Bay, then go to Viet Hai wharf, ride a bicycle to Viet Hai Village, have lunch at Viet Hai.
14:00: ride a bicycle to the wharf, boat to Lanha bay for sleep

Evening:
Enjoy grilled seafood, camp-fire on the beach.
Taste wine at some bars on the Island, view the Bay by night.

    Option 3:
8:00: Take a bus to Cat Ba National Park, walk from the park to Viet Hai Village (15km).

14:00: ride bicycle to the wharf, go kayaking, boat to Lan Ha bay

Enjoy grilled seafood, camp-fire on the beach.

•    Day 3:(B,L)
6:00: have breakfast on boat (buffet), then go aboard to visit Ha Long Bay, Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave).

12:00: Arrive in Bai Chay – Quang Ninh (lunch is served on boat or restaurant at Quang Ninh).
13:00: back to Hanoi.
17:00: Arrive in Hanoi, say good bye beside Sword Lake. End of program.
