SPECIAL TOUR

  • COC LY MARKET (TuesDay only) – private tour

After breakfast we will depart for Coc Ly market which is 54 km north west of Lao Cai city. The journey takes about 2,5 hours through rural areas. Coc Ly is a small remote village known for its market. It is located on Chay river and inhabited by mainly flower H’Mong ethnic minority people. The market is gathered only on TuesDay. Here you have a special chance to meet several ethnic minorities, such as Flower H’Mong, Black Dzao, Phu La, Nung, Tay. At this market you will find a variety of items for sale such as clothes, fruits, food, vegetables and handicraft etc. You will also have an opportunity to see many animal with the local have brought mountainous limestone countryside for a relaxing boat trip. We will have a picnic lunch on the boat while we enjoy the magnificent sights along the riverbank. We will visit some famous caves such as Bat cave, Tien Cave… and many picturesque waterfalls.
Nearing the end ò the 1 hour cruise, the beautiful village of the Tay minority people called Trung Do will emerge. Here we will experience the lifestyle ò the local people, before taking one last boat trip where you will meet up with our minibus to reture to Sapa or Lao Cai city for the night train, depending on your wishes



  • TA PHIN
    (Half Day tour program)


9.00: start your trip from our Sapa Summit Hotel, your journey will be mostly driving down hill toward Lao Cai. Before taking a left turn into a mall tarmac road leading to ta Phin village. Here a short walk takes you to some small hamlets of Ta Phin village where 2 ethinic groups: Black H’Mong and Red Dzao minorities live their own way without a mixture of both of their cultures.
These 2 largest ethnic groups live happily together while maintaining their traditions from generation to generation. You can easily recognize them by their clothes, they are both famous for handicraft. You will enjoy taking a walk among the small hamlets. On the walk you also have an opportunity to visit the local houses then you will return back Sapa by jeep or van.


  • CAN CAU MARKET (SaturDay only)
Can Cau market is a small market in the valley, 7km from China border. It deeply shows the typical cultural features of the minorities in Vietnam. You can see ethnic people in colourful costumes from all over the hidden vllages. Lunch in Can Cau. Then bus back to Sapa
  • BAC HA MARKET (SunDay only)
Bac Ha market is the meeting place of many different ethnic groups who comes here for exchange their handmade products, as well as exchanges the culture. It fills with many different hilltribe peoples. You will have the chance to enjoy it’s simple bit unique kind of food with special wines made from rice, corn and fruits… Leave the market for King’s House built by the French colonists and Chinese in 1920. Back to town for lunch and visit Ban Pho village. Return to Sapa or bus back to Lao Cai.
